We love our volunteers!  We couldn't do anything without you.  It's a great way to get to know other club members and help our organization grow and thrive.

Fast CAT Committee (Liz Kuivinen chair):  This committee organizes and puts on our annual AKC Fast Cat event each July at Washington County Fairgrounds.  Volunteer duties include being available for zoom meetings, deciding on ribbons, food for volunteers, helping with raffle items, volunteering during the event, designing various marketing pieces.

Activities Committee (Barb Gage chair):  This committee brain storms fun ideas for club events outside of our annual conformation specialty and Fast CAT events.  Previous events have included sledding and carting clinics, felting workshops, pack hikes, annual picnic and weight pull clinics.  Volunteer duties include brain storming event ideas, working through logistics of events, deciding on pricing, location scouting and being available for zoom meetings.

Specialty Committee (Board of Directors chair):  This committee helps to plan and organize our annual conformation specialty at the Washington County Fairgrounds.  Volunteer duties include trophy ideas, obtaining sponsorship for trophies, planning annual banquet/auction, judges hospitality and ring stewards.

SAMS Board:  We welcome members in good standing to run for a position on the board.  Elections occur annually.  

Hospitality & Courtesy (Barb Gage chair):  Known as the 'sunshine lady', send out sympathy cards and acknowledge other members for life changes.

SCA Liason (Leny Wendel chair):  Communicates important information from our parent club, Samoyed Club of America.

Judge Selection (Larry Mackai chair):  Communicate with membership eligible judges and coordinates polling of judges for our upcoming conformation shows.

Zoom (Liz Hanly chair):  Facilitates Zoom meetings as needed.

Website (Liz Hanly chair):  Updates website as needed.  

Email Blast (Jill Crisp chair):  Sends out important communications to members and interested people regarding activities, events and important club updates.

Membership (Kristina Knutson chair):  Facilitates new membership applications, sends out renewal notices and processes membership renewals.
