Wellness Clinic When: May 10, noon-4:30 p.m. Where: Gage & Gage, 4950 12th Ave. E, Shakopee, MN Dr. Camille McArdle will be doing the clinic again at Gage & Gage’s Warehouse/Office in Shakopee. For S.A.M.S. members and anyone wishing to participate... Here are the 2008 prices: Heartworm testing $26 Rabies vaccination (certificate but no tag) $20 DA2PP vaccination (no corona, no lepto) $20 Bordetella (intranasal) $16 Implant microchip $32 (this does not include registering it anywhere; I will have the paperwork to register it with AKC-CAR, which costs $12.50) T4 Blood level $54 4Dx test: Heartworm antigen plus three tick-borne diseases $56 (higher than at a veterinary clinic, as they can do them in-house but I have to send them out) Picking the veterinarian's brain: Priceless (ha ha, kidding) Basic physical exam is N/C with vaccination but I will not have the time/equipment to check ear infections, etc. All paperwork (rabies certificates, blood results, prescriptions for heartworm preventive, etc.) will be mailed within 8 days. Please bring a self-addressed, stamped envelope for your papers. Please know your dog’s weight for the heartworm medicine Rx. It would be VERY helpful to have approximate counts a week ahead, NECESSARY (!) for microchips and T4's, which require that I have an adequate number of certain forms, and knowing the total number of dogs to expect would allow me to make sure I have adequate supplies ready.
